this assignment works as my isolation project on top of being my DA this semester. the goal of this digital artefact is to make my followers and other people laugh as much, as I humanly can. That old saying ‘laughter is the best medicine’ is the basis of this project. currently I have made two videos and ill put them below.
I’ve scripted two more for next week that involve my housemates and work content around cocktail making and enjoyment. My method for these videos is brainstorm some creative ideas in my notebook and then ill right a script. After I talk with my housemates and see if they think it’ll be funny, I will start filming content. depending on the video length and form of content it only takes me about 10-15 mins to edit and put it together on my phone. Which as I said in my pitch video is a driving force.
Ted broached the topic to us this week in our tuts of being anti- fragile with our projects, I found the term extremely interesting. So, I decided to take it and forge it into the heart of the ideology of this project. what I mean by this is that I intend to be able to change and mould my content at any time if something doesn’t work for me. Which is a breath of fresh air from past DAs, the project as all my others have in my past follow Teds philosophy of FIST (Fast, Inexpensive, Simple, Tiny) with my schedule and lockdown happening I wanted to make this project as minimal impact on myself and the people around me, because mental health is a key thing to watch in this period.
